No images yet. Choose some images above and the smaller versions will appear here.

Your images are processed on your device and are never uploaded. Saving them again removes hidden data such as camera details and GPS location, and may slightly change colors. Animated images keep only their first frame.

    Introduction
Use this free image compressor and converter to make your photos and graphics smaller without leaving your browser. Drop in JPG, PNG or WebP images, pick a quality or even a target file size like 200 KB, and download the smaller versions one by one or as a ZIP. You can also convert between formats and resize images. Your images are processed on your own device and are never uploaded.

    How to use

    1. Drag your images into the box, or click it to choose files.
    2. Pick the output format, then set a quality, a target size in KB, or a maximum width.
    3. Check the before and after sizes in the results.
    4. Click Download, or Download all (ZIP).

    Which format should I choose?

    • JPEG: best for photos, small files, no transparency.
    • WebP: usually smaller than JPEG, supports transparency, and works on modern browsers.
    • PNG: best for logos, screenshots and graphics that need sharp edges or transparency, but files are bigger.

    FAQs

    • Are my images uploaded to a server? No, everything happens in your browser.
    • Will quality drop? JPEG and WebP are lossy, so there is some loss. At around 70 to 85 quality, most people don’t notice a difference in photos.
    • How do I compress an image to 200 KB? Type 200 in the target size box. The tool lowers quality, and if needed shrinks the image, until it fits.
    • Does it remove GPS data from photos? Yes, saving again removes camera and location details.
    • Why did my PNG get bigger? PNG is lossless, so re-saving can increase the size. Convert it to JPEG or WebP for smaller files.
    • Is there a limit? Up to 30 images at a time, 30 MB each.
